As part of the day-to-day operation of the other side of our business — our day job is providing consulting services to newspapers and publishing a newsletter about the newspaper business — we have created three basic web sites, which are available here, here and here.

Our pro-bono work includes developing web sites for the Pacific Coast Live Steamers, the National Summer Steamup and a never-implemented site for the Bay Area Garden Railway Society.

In 2007 we developed the web site for the 2007 National Garden Railway Convention, also creating a PayPal-based registration system for the event.

Most recently, we developed a web site extolling the virtues of some of our other hobbies, including our Christmas lights synchronized to music web site (based on Joomla 1.5) and our blog about hobbyist electronics (based on WordPress 2.7.1).
